The focus of this program which will be offered in partnership with Congregation Beth El, is to teach Judaism as a path to promote self-acceptance, self-worth, spiritual values and family harmony. It addresses addictive and self-destructive behaviors that are becoming common among Jewish teens against the backdrp of Jewish learning, spirituality, and celebration as powerful tools of personal transformation. Recovering young addicts and recovered patients at the Beit T'Shuvah recovery and rehabiltation program in Los Angeles will join a team of Jewish educators and other professionals in telling the stories of self-destructionn followed by recovery.
